When I first heard about Showit and its infinite design possibilities, I immediately knew I was going to love it. After digging more into what this website builder has to offer, I decided to switch to a Showit website and I can say I never looked back.

What is Showit

So what exactly is Showit? Showit is a visual website builder that offers the possibility to make your wildest design dreams come to life. And all of this, without coding since it works with an easy drag-and-drop interface. Here are a few reasons why I love Showit so much.

Creative freedom

You can build a completely custom desktop and mobile Showit website from scratch without being limited by any prebuilt blocks. You can literally create everything you want inside your website editor, and place it exactly where you want. And this is exactly how it will show up on your live website.

This was really a game changer for me since it allowed for total creative freedom. It also allows me to create custom websites for my customers, that actually reflect what they were looking for in the most accurate way.

Responsive mobile and desktop Showit website

Showit will be responsive on all devices, whether it’s desktop, tablet, or mobile. But the cool thing is that you can actually create a different version for desktop and mobile. Specific elements can be toggled on and off on either the desktop or mobile version, in order to only appear on one. Or you could make certain sections look different, to make sure your design and functionality are best adapted to each device.

Integration with WordPress

Showit integrates with WordPress for blogging, which allows you to have the best of both platforms. You can create your Showit website and blog design exactly the way you want it inside the Showit editor while using the powerful features of WordPress for blogging. The integration is totally seamless and works perfectly together.

Showit community and support

Showit has an amazing support system with both a community on Facebook and a very responsive support team. Their customer service team is super friendly and always replies in a very timely manner, while the community on Facebook will never leave you feeling alone.

Is a Showit website right for your business?

As much as I love Showit, I don’t believe this is the right choice for everyone. Showit is totally geared towards service providers rather than e-commerce businesses.

That said, it’s absolutely possible to have a shop on Showit using a third-party checkout provider such as Shopify Starter or Thrivecart. My own shop works on Showit and I’ve built client websites with shops. However, if you plan on expanding fully in e-commerce, Showit wouldn’t be the right platform for you and I would in this case rather choose Shopify. If you only sell up to 30 items then you can still go for Showit.
